Some students may want to find a student job, as way to earn a way to earn a bit of money whilst studying at the same time. This is also a possibility in Switzerland like in many other countries around the world.
Students may simply want to find a job to earn money, others may want to try and find a job which has a link to the course that they are studying.
Due to the number of languages being spoken in Switzerland, it is of course vital that if a student wants to try and find a job, that they speak the local language. Of course being able to speak languages such as German and English are also key when trying to find a job in Lausanne.
Most student jobs in Switzerland that are offered, will tend to be jobs such as working in cafes, bars or restaurants. What job the student will be able to do will also be determined on of course what course they are studying and their timetable.
Other areas that students can also look into when finding a job can be tutoring. If they are an international student, they could see if anybody in the local area would be interested in learning their mother tongue. This can be a very quick and easy way to find potential work. Also seeing if there is any way to give any other form of tuition, such as maths or any other subject which is needed.
